This is incredibly important as one of the pillars of a Futureproof Foundation for one's personal life. It cultivates inner fortitude in the face of external uncertainty. This creates a vicious cycle of powerlessness and eventual overwhelm. This can lead to depression over time.
In today's intense time of change and uncertainty, it's no wonder that overwhelm and depression are increasingly common when our thoughts and emotions are tempted by non-stop media to dwell on endless troubles in the external realm that are beyond our control. We are tempted and even expected to have an opinion, and expected to engage with "issues in our society" by virtue-signaling on having the "correct" opinion.
Mob confidence is substituting a lack of personal authority that can only be developed when it's harnessed within the sphere of one's conscious choices made directly into actionable change, regardless of others.
So begin to Authorize Yourself through the practice of exercising your choices consciously towards small desired changes within your own life, remembering to focus only on your personal sphere and not letting your mental or emotional energy be distracted and drained by the external.
Practice and watch your confidence and courage grow.
Over time, your inner muscle of personal authority will be increasingly steadfast, and you will not be worried about challenges in life and changes in the world, because you know you are capable within the sphere of reality in your own life.
